Flying...

This past Sunday while hanging out at the hangar we decided to fly over the Cascade range to Sunriver Resort (in central Oregon) for brunch. What a great flight with some Fall colors thrown in. The air is so much better at 8,500 ft.!

Ah, camping...

We have spent 12 to 15 years coming to Magone (pronounced Magoon) for the last week of bow (archery) season, bringing Rae Ann and Robin when they were at home with us. This year Bruce did not have a hunting partner so after hours of sitting or walking silently in the cold woods he figured he'd much rather be at the hangar building the plane. So we came home two days early and spent the last couple of days of his vacation doing just that. Good times!

A beautiful day to fly...

Wow, we can fly the litte ones! They did great! Becky took Rae Ann, Stella and Ivy down to Ashland and Bruce brought them back. Stella rode in right seat and kept grabbing Becky's arm, as she flew, so that she (Stella) could snuggle and fall asleep.
The pics are of Bruce's jaunt home with them. We spent the night at the hangar (as we often do on weekends) and were met with a great sunrise, as we stood at the edge of the runway.

Our two girls organized a 25th anniversary party for us in our back yard on August 26th. Although our anniversary is December 29th, we agreed to a summer gathering knowing the weather would be nicer. When they weren't looking, we saw to it that our entire wedding party and the pastor who married us be present. Many were pleasantly surprised when we renewed our vows at exactly 8pm, the same time we were married 25 years ago. Sure doesn't seem like we've been together that long - then, we look around and see grandkids. Guess so!
