Kitplanes & Indiana Jones

In May I received a phonecall from our EAA technical advisor saying a photographer from Kitplanes was in town to take photos of builder's welding methods. These photos are to be a part of an article to be published in the Fall of 2010. Becky spent about 2hrs with the photographer taking pics from every angle. He showed up with everything: all kinds of fancy lights and paraphernalia. Becky was one of 3 builders photographed before he returned to Los Angeles.

While he was there, we were treated by a visit by the Waco used in the 1st Indiana Jones movie. In the movie, the plane was grey and on floats. Now, it's a gorgeous red and owned by a gentleman in central Oregon

this is horrid to admit (being a breckenridge), but i've never seen the first indiana jones movie (::wince::)! actually, i don't think i've seen any except the one (of which i can't remember the name). HOWEVER, the coolness of this plane is not lost on me!!! that's so awesome! if only harrison ford or sean connery came with it... ::sigh::
