We do not miss her, although Bruce decided to name her Betsy as we slid her into the oven! I look foward to the raising of the next batch. Turkeys are hilarious birds to have around.
Man, I need to get pictures from you guys...ones from Thanksgiving and tree killing day. And, no worries, I'm working on replacing the batteries in my camera so I don't have to keep taking your guys pictures.
How big did she end up being? My husband is so jealous that you raise turkeys. He wants to raise one to be a 30lber... too bad my roaster will only hold up to 30lbs. :-D
To those who've been curious! We raised 3 turkeys. This was the little one, who weighed in at 31lbs. The other two were 33lbs each.
