Made some real progress this weekend at the hangar. It's nice when you can spend the night and put in 15 or so hours on the weekend. I got the tailcone all rivetted together and started putting the big pieces together! Cool. Man, this thing is starting to take up some room.

We got up this morning and went to visit the "Flying M Ranch", which is 1/2 hour west of Yamhill. It has an airstrip that is quite the challenge. Weather today was rain, mist, fog, low clouds, more rain. We drove. Awesome lodge with lots of animal mounts. They have a website (www.flying-m-ranch.com), but sadly, they are closing in 2 weeks. So, those of you who are local to the area, you must visit this landmark for Sunday brunch ($7.95!) on one of the next two Sundays before they close October 31st at Midnight. I found a second website that really shows the place off well; check out: http://www.omen.com/f/flyingm.html.

The tailcone looks awesome! And it's getting huge...

I think I need to go back up to Parkdale to get more apples. I'm running low:)
